Until you can answer these questions.
WHO is the best person to carry the message to the classroom? Maybe you are not the right person. Be careful when talking outside your area of expertise.
WHAT do you know that the students need to learn? Prepare several different topics to make you more attractive as a class presenter.
WHEN is the best time to deliver your message. Maybe when you want to talk at the school isn’t the time they are studying your subject.
WHERE does your message fit the curriculum. You can’t just talk about whatever you want. There has to be a reason— a connection to the curriculum.
WHY  should a teacher give up precious teaching time for you? Their day is jam-packed.
HOW  can you help the teacher do his or her job?

Don't try to run a one-man-show. You can't do that at work, so don't try it in the classroom.

  • Contact your company's head office or your industry's trade association.
  • Their job is to help you look good.

Don’t stop with classroom presentations.
Every school can benefit from your help.
Become a volunteer, mentor, benefactor and supporter.
